Originally from the Philippines, Rowena has been part of the CDP Team since 2005. She began working as an assistant teacher in various age groups for the past 9 years. Rowena graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English at Bukidnon State University in the Philippines and has earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) in Pennsylvania in 2008. Rowena is married and doesn’t have any children of her own, she loves working with the children at CDP and being part of the team.
Christina started with our family here at CDP in 2006. She has lived in Quakertown her entire life and continues to live here with her husband, a local firefighter. Christina has worked with all age groups and recently became the teacher in the older toddler classroom. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program for Early Childhood Education. Christina is excited to continue her education and become more involved in the development of her students. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, reading and baking.
Betsy has been a part of the CDP team since 1984. She began teaching in the toddler room and has taught every age group except infants. In 2003 she became the director. Betsy is a graduate of Slippery Rock University. She holds a PA teaching certificate in Elementary Education and Special Education. In 2009 Betsy obtained her PA Director’s Credential through the Pennsylvania Key. In her spare time she enjoys reading, and working outside on the farm.
Andrea has been part of the CDP team since 2003. She began working after school and during breaks from college, allowing her to work with all of the different age groups. Since 2008, she has been teaching our Pre-K class. Andrea earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Millersville University and her Master’s degree in Special Education from DeSales University.
Corey has been part of the CDP Team since 2005. She began working in the office primarily handling the staff and children’s records, the Keystone STARS program and DPW Inspection. In May, 2013, she added working with CDP’s billing and accounts payable systems to her position. Corey is a graduate of Temple University where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Sports Management. In her spare time, Corey and her husband keep busy with their 3 children, all who are CDP alumni.
Missy started with the CDP team as an assistant teacher in the pre-school program in February 2014. She attended Lehigh Carbon Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Missy now Co-teaches in the older toddler room with Rosie. Missy has been working at CDP for little over 3 years. In her free time, Missy says she enjoys going on cruises, bowling, and spending time with her loving family, husband and daughter. Her next big move is buying a house this summer.
Anne graduated from Millersville University with a PA teaching certificate in Special Education. After working in home based and center based Early Intervention programs, she joined the CDP staff from 2003-2007 as a three year old teacher and then moved to a Pre-K class. After another 5 years as a home based teacher doing intensive teaching with children on the Autistic Spectrum, she returned to CDP as a Pre-K teacher. Outside of work, Anne enjoys traveling, cycling and hiking.
Kristin studied elementary and special education at Slippery Rock University where she earned a bachelor of science in education. After 11 years at the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 where she worked as a special education teacher in one of their school-based treatment programs for children in need of mental health treatment, she made the move to CDP in 2016. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Rosie joined CDP's family 6 years ago as an assistant teacher, working with ages 1-5. She attended Bucks County Community College when she earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Rosie is now co teaching in older toddlers with Missy. Rosie also works for Bayada Home Health Care Pediatrics as a home health aide for a little girl with an intellectual disability. In her free time she likes to go fishing, hunting, travel, and going to the beach.
Amy is a graduate of Salisbury University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology. While working as an Associate Trainer at ADP, where she worked for many years, Amy completed the necessary training to teach early childhood art and spent the next 10 years facilitating art classes part-time for children 18 months to 5 years. She also received certification to instruct preschool martial arts which she did for four years. “Retiring” from the business world enabled Amy to dive into coursework in regular and special education, and get into classrooms throughout the County. Amy joined CDP in 2016. She lives in Perkasie with her husband and two daughters.
